Rather a sweet pâté as you might expect from the title, but still a Low Sugar recipe, surprisingly.  It’s just the liqueur and the honey that give it its distinctive tang.  It’s not intended to taste meaty but why should a pâté be meaty?  And you can even serve it hot!  Just pop it into a medium oven for ten minutes.


Ingredients: Sweet potato, cashew nuts, onions, mushrooms, courgettes, hazel nuts, Brazil nuts, sunflower oil, garlic, honey, salt, orange liqueur, orange oil, black pepper
200g – serves 6

One of the most delicious things I have ever eaten!  Sublime taste and texture, with that hint of orange.  It goes beautifully on a thin sliver of melba toast.
